Josef P. Schaible, President and Chief Operating Officer
For over a decade, Mr. Schaible oversaw the operations of NexTrade. His expertise with respect to efficient exchange operations, clearing processes, reporting protocols, and matching system technologies is total. Under Josef’s guidance of development, the NexTrade systems were regarded as the fastest in the US according to Trader’s magazine April 2004.
William Frank, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Frank has been developing trading related technology systems for nearly 20 years. A former Professor at MIT, Mr. Frank has designed numerous systems capable of supporting an exchange.
Mark S. Smith, Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Smith ran business development for NexTrade and then went on to found Matchbook FX. Former COO of Lava FX, a division of Citigroup, Mr. Smith is a financial product expert, with a long history of developing and successfully deploying new trading vehicles.
Daniel Caamano V., Chief Legal Officer
Mr. Caamano holds an advanced doctoral degree in law and economics, a juris doctor degree, and a master’s degree in business administration. Mr. Caamano is also an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law where he teaches Securities, International Banking and Finance Law. Mr. Caamano has served as Chief Operating and Legal Officer for NexTrade Holdings, Inc. Mr. Caamano is a recognized expert in securities law and market structure.
Donald E. Weeden, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Weeden is currently Chairman of Weeden Securities Corporation, the General Partner of Weeden & Co.,LP, a securities brokerage firm catering to institutional investors. Weeden & Co. has offices in Greenwich, CT., Boston, MA.., Chicago, IL., and San Francisco, CA.
Mr. Weeden has been working on the cutting edge of market structure for over 40 years. Enormously successful, Mr. Weeden remains actively involved in the financial services business.
